I'm really sorry to hear about Sam's death. I always thought she was neat. I must also admit that I am somewhat puzzled to learn that she was killed by a bear. The documentary evidence provided above strongly suggests that she was actually murdered by carnivorous deer. I do hope the police keep an open mind during their investigation. It would be a miscarriage of justice to accuse any one particular species before all of the evidence has been carefully considered.
